PLATFORM ENGINEER

What you'll be doing

​

• Maintaining and supporting services from testing all the way to production
   

• Improving the availability and performance of our biggest systems
   

• Working closely with all our engineering teams
   

• Researching, recommending and implementing new technologies
   

• Building on significant existing automation and orchestration

 

You should apply if you are...

 

• You’ve run Linux based web systems in a commercial or high volume environment
   

• You know Terraform and/or Kubernetes on GCP or AWS
   

• You can script/code in a modern language
   

• You’ve worked deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting web applications
   

• You’re happy to own, support, and go on call for the systems you work on

You will join around 80 of us, remotely or based in comfortable, freshly renovated offices located in a
conservation area in Havant, Hampshire. Trains to Chichester, Southampton, Brighton and London are a 5
minute walk away, and we are also a 15 minute walk to the sea. We’ve got all the usual suspects; breakout
areas, a games room and free on-site employee parking. And plenty of the more unusual suspects; a sizable
garden, a plethora of musical instruments, modern kitchens, a host of the latest gadgets, opportunities for sporting enthusiasts, copious nerf guns and much more. Plus a 1Gbps fibre Internet
